In just a short time, it will be Thanksgiving! Every year around October, my family and I become excited with anticipation of the forthcoming seasons. It truly is my favorite time of the year!
I love to cook, and most holidays, I love to have everyone gather at my house. Keeping things organized is a sure-fire way to ensure everyone has a good time. That includes place settings. This tutorial is to show how to make your own simple place settings for Thanksgiving.
You will need:
Leaf garland
Scrapbook paper
Thin ribbon or tiny pre-made bows
Crafting wire cutters
Glue gun and glue sticks
I began by choosing a scrapbook paper with rustic colors and elements.
Next I folded, folded, and folded the paper evenly until I had several small 3" X 3" cards.
I love this garland! This mini leaf garland is great because it is flexible and only cost $2.29 at Anna's linens.
I clipped the garland at about 2 inches per piece, and shaped it into a small circle.
Bead a circle of glue onto your tiny card.
Place your garland circle onto the glue and press down. Cute, no!?
Finally I added tiny bows at the bottom of each circle. I made these bows myself using ribbon I had on-hand, but you can buy tiny bows pre-made at any craft or fabric store.
There we have it! Just label.
