Simple Poinsettia Pomander

Hello, friends!!  Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule (almost Christmas, yay!!) to drop by!

Today's post will feature how to make a really lovely poinsettia hanging ornament, super inexpensively.

You will need:

One Large foam ornament $0.99 at the 99 Store
Six Silver poinsettia sprays $0.99
Six Dark red poinsettia sprays $0.99
Ribbon, if you prefer
Hot glue gun and glue sticks

First, remove the flowers from the stems.

Use the branch to poke a hole into the foam ornament.

  Shown here.

Fill the hole with hot glue.

Press the stem of the leaf into the hole.

Use the same technique to add flowers, until your ball is almost completely covered.

Finally, gently push back your flowers in several places, and add the greenery from your sprays to any remaining barren areas.

  All done!

You may opt to add a ribbon bow to the top of your pomander if you prefer.

This is a simple, quick craft idea!  You can use this ornament on door handles, car windows, or as I've done here, on a chandelier.  They may also be used for table-top décor....the possibilities are endless!
